私が彼女と出会ったのは約３年前でした。 この３年間の彼女の変化はすごいなと思っています。
元々、社会のあらゆる事に対して自分の感覚をもって向き合い、 そこから感じる違和感をしっかり受け止める力の高い人でした。 だからこそ、人一倍悩むことや辛くなることも多かったようです。 でも持ち前の行動力とバイタリティで、 考え得る解決策をどんどん実行に移し、 とにかく歩みを止めず進み続けるところが彼女の強みです。
私は、自分の生き方に迷い苦しんでいた時代の彼女も知っています。 だから今こうして飛躍する彼女を見ると、とても嬉しいし、 勇気と力をもらえます。

阿部さんと初めてお会いしたのはセミナーでした。
雰囲気が柔らかく話しやすそうな方、というのが第一印象でしたが、接していると思っていた通り、誰とでも分け隔てなく接する方だと感じました。
のちに彼女が数十カ国も旅をしながら世界中の人と出会い、様々な経験をしていたことを知り驚きました！
彼女のブログには、決して見たり聞いたりしただけではない、単なる旅行では得られないであろうリアルな体験と、
そこから感じ取った彼女独自の視点での世界の捉え方が描かれています。
裏表がなく、型にはまらない視点で物事や人の感情を捉えられる彼女からは、普通に日本に生きていれば得られない多くの気づきを得られることは間違いありません。

It is my honor to recommend Toshiko Abe as a freelance consultant.
I had the pleasure of meeting her in South Korea in 2014 and have had the opportunity to travel with her in the USA, UK and Turkey. I am very lucky to be able to call her a friend. Toshiko Abi is a one-of-a-kind person. She is very outgoing and people seem to gather around her. She has a way with talking to people especially with foreigners. She was constantly inviting people to go to events in the Seoul and had experience working at a hostel reception in Albania.
She’s active on couch-surfing which allows her to constantly meet new travelers. One of her strengths is her inquisition; always asking questions and making people talk. What I noticed is she isn’t afraid to ask a question if she doesn’t understand.
Toshiko is also very open minded. Going to school and living in the USA and Korea show her courage to live outside her comfort zone. She seems to always be happy to try something new. In Turkey she happily joined yoga classes and helped cook new dishes and even participated in a juice detox diet. When she visited in Florida she was eager to hop on a kayak and paddle in the swamp despite never doing this before. This is so important because she seems to be open to listening to different ideas and ways of doing things. She is an information sponge, soaking up as much knowledge as she can.
I also noticed her commitment to decisions, especially while traveling with her. If there is something she wants to do she will do it no matter what. I’ve seen this while she was planning her route through the Greek islands. She is one of the few people I know who will do what she says and commit to it, even if it is flying across the country to see a friend.
She is definitely a reliable person for support and guidance. Toshiko is a remarkable person and I highly recommend speaking with her and listening to what she has to say. She is full of wisdom and joy. Since she has a lot of experience outside of Japan she doesn’t fit into a traditional Japanese thinking (However traveling has made her very proud and interested in Japanese culture)

Toshiko spent a few weeks but that short time was more than enough for us to love her. our students couldn’t help crying when she left them. she was so much close to us.

It was a beautiful blessing to have Toshiko at our little farm for a couple of weeks! She is an incredible person, hardworking, inspired, with good energy and great conversation. Toshiko immediately bonded with the sheep, who soon became her friends. The chicken also liked her approach.
She is also organised and self-motivated, and we were even able to let her take care of things on her own for a couple of days. We and the animals will miss her!
達志子が私たちの小さな農園に来てくれたことは私たちにとってとても大変幸運なことだった。彼女は、良く働き、活気づけられ、よいエネルギーを持っているとても素晴らしい人だ。彼女とは私は素晴らしい会話も出来た。
